Hidden Tunnel Time

This is in some ways a memorial to the Chinese railway workers that contributed to the development of this country to a degree far greater than they will ever be credited for. Just outside of Hope this tunnel resides with an entrance but no exit. In 1884 as the Canadian Pacific Railway was forging East to link this country, a group of Chinese Canadians lost their lives to a collapse of this tunnel.
